RELATED: Elden Ring: Every Bell Bearing, Where To Find Them & What They Give You
Elden Ring’s Guardian Swordspear is not easy to get. It is a possible drop from Erdtree Guardians. At 100 Discovery, the drop rate for this Halberd is 2%. Unless a player gets very lucky, they will likely have to farm Erdtree Guardians to get this weapon. However, fans have discovered the best place to do this, where there are six guardians grouped in one area.
How To Farm For The Guardian Swordspear
The best location to farm for the Guardian Swordspear is at the Minor Erdtree Church, which is located in the Altus Plateau southwest of the Sealed Tunnel, by the west gate to the Leyndell Royal Capital in the Capital Outskirts. There will be a Site of Grace, which will make farming for the Swordspear easier.
The six Erdtree Guardians will be outside the church. They will have a unique attack that other guardians in the Lands Between do not have. They can have the branch on their back blossom flowers, which will make them grow in size and turn their swordspear into a club.
Every time the six are defeated, rest at the Site of Grace to repopulate the six guardians. Keep cycling through until the Guardian Swordspear is dropped. Besides the weapon, these enemies also can drop the Guardian Set and Tarnished Golden Sunflowers.
For players that have not yet gotten to the Altus Plateau, there are other locations to find Erdtree Guardians. They are often found near any Minor Erdtree (and near the Erdtree itself in the Capital). The earliest accessible Minor Erdtree is the one in the Weeping Peninsula, south of the Church of Pilgrimage. However, there will be less Erdtree Guardians than in the Minor Erdtree Church.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
