With Elden Ring’s large world to explore, it’s easy to get lost in where the Tarnished is standing, especially if the map is nothing but a blank space. To reveal the full layout of an area, players must first find all of its map fragments. Every main area has its own number of map fragments. For example, Liurnia of the Lakes has three, while Limgrave only has two. Limgrave is a very important area in Elden Ring, as it’s the location where players start their journey. Therefore, collecting its map fragments will certainly help Tarnished get its early items.RELATED: Elden Ring: How To Find Map Fragments

All Limgrave Map Fragment Locations In Elden Ring

As mentioned before, there are two map fragments for Limgrave; Map (Limgrave, West) in Gatefront Ruins and Map (Limgrave, East) in Mistwood Ruins.

To get the first one, Tarnished will have to start at The First Step Site of Lost Grace. From there, keep walking north until reaching a camp filled with Nobles. This camp is part of the Gatefront Ruins. After running past the enemies, Tarnished will find a glowing item in front of a stone that has ancient writings. This item is the Map (Limgrave, West).

If players don’t want to ignore the enemies, then they need to make sure to light up the Gatefront Ruins Site of Lost Grace. This way, if the Tarnished dies, they can respawn in a closer place than the first Site of Grace they discovered.

The second map fragment is a bit tricky to obtain. Players would want to start at Agheel Lake North Site of Lost Grace since it’s the closest. It’s East of the Gatefront Ruins Site of Lost Grace.

Since the journey will take a while, Elden Ring players should summon Torrent to travel. From Agheel Lake North, ride forward until the bridge is visible. Now, walk North in a straight line until players reach the Mistwood Ruins, a forest with huge trees. Tarnished need to enter it and keep riding between the trees.

Like the previous fragment, players will see a huge glowing stone that has ancient writings. The Map (Limgrave, East) is right in front of it. Be careful when picking it up as there’s a huge monster next to the stone.

Each map fragment will open a part of the map. Once players collect them all, it will be much easier to fully explore the area. Be sure to search it thoroughly, as it’s filled with Smithing Stones that are needed to strengthen most early game weapons.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
